Non destructive testing
In order to perform non destructive testing Ecoglobal utilizes last generation equipment such as portable digital ultrasonic devices complete of probes capable of measuring residual wall thickness avoiding to remove protecting coating varnish on the material, digital hardness testers able to work in particular positions without leaving relevant marks with automatic conversions in the different hardness scales, etc…

Non Destructive Testing can be executed by means of various methods:

• Automated Ultrasonic Inspection
• Guided Waves (this method enables quick detection and estimation of the defects inside and outward of the pipes, both coated or not. This kind of inspection, made up to relieve corrosion, enables to examine inaccessible for example laid underground, and operant pipelines , with a minimum external priming).

Ecoglobal gives a meticulous attention to research and development of new applications in Non Destructive Tesiting, using portable ultrasonic devices such as Phased Array (inspections on boats) and automated ultrasonic devices in order to preserve an high-quality standard on the inspections performed.

Beyond this, we are in a position to perform the detection and the evaluation of surface hardness on different materials.
